June 2025 will be a busy time for Indian cricket, as both the men's and women's teams will head to England for a challenging tour. The men's team will compete in a 5-match Test series, while the women's team will play 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs. Both tours will take place at the same time during the English summer.

The England Cricket Board have also announced that India Women will return to England in 2026 to play the first-ever Women's Test match at Lord’s which will be an historic moment.

For the men's series, the first Test will start at Headingley, Leeds, on June 20, 2025. The second Test will be at Edgbaston, followed by the third Test at Lord's. The fourth Test will take place at Old Trafford, and the series will conclude with the fifth Test at The Oval.

The last time India faced England in a Test series, India won 4-1 at home. In their previous Test series in England (2021-2022), India led 2-1 before the final Test was postponed to 2022, which England subsequently won. Although India have had some success against England, they haven't won a Test series in England since 2007, which they won under Rahul Dravid's captaincy.

The India Women’s team will kick off their tour with the first T20I at Trent Bridge, with the T20I series wrapping up at Edgbaston. The three ODIs will be held in Southampton, Lord's, and Durham. During their last visit to England in 2022, India Women won the ODI series 3-0, while England Women won the T20I series 2-1.

The India men’s team also have a chance of making it to the UK earlier if they qualify for the World Test Championship final. As things stand, they are the favourites to book a spot in their third straight WTC final as they are on top of the WTC Points table. They have 2 Test series at home, against Bangladesh and New Zealand. Towards the end of the year, India will visit Australia to play the Border-Gavaskar trophy. We might probably see a repeat of the 2023 WTC Final in 2025, with both India and Australia on top of the table right now.
