With just five more matches to go in the league phase, our Titans will be eyeing a win against Royal Challengers Bengaluru to push for a place in the TATA IPL Play-off.
During a tough contest against Delhi, the fighting spirit of the Gujarat Titans was amply on display! It’s this emotion and belief that we will carry with us when we return to the Home of the Gujarat Titans to face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in our next TATA IPL 2024 tie on Sunday (April 28).
The race for the Play-off is intense but our Titans have shown time and time again that they are up for any contest. Despite a change in guard, our Titans have risen above the challenges to put on a quality show for the Titans FAM.
Be it our skipper Shubman Gill, who has shown great ability to lead the side in TATA IPL, or the likes of David Miller, Rashid Khan, Rahul Tewatia and Sai Sudharsan, among others, who have continued their rich vein of form into the season. With just five more matches in the league phase to go, this will be the time we see our Titans make the big push for a place in the top four.
Team Talk - Agent Miller for a reason
He’s someone who not only adds stability to our middle order but also takes the fight to the opposition with his instinctive batting. Against the Delhi Capitals in our last outing, Agent Miller brought his experience to the fore as he steadied the ship after the loss of the free-scoring Sai Su and then built the innings with our lower-middle order batters to take us close to the target.

Miller's power hitting at his finest 🤯🤩#GT - 176/6 (17 overs)#AavaDe | #GTKarshe | #TATAIPL2024 | #DCvGT
With 330 runs against the RCB in his 14 innings, our South African Titan will hope to continue his run and aid our cause as we chase a top-four spot.
#GTvRCB- A promising run-fest
Our matches against RCB have always been a run fest. Be it the two ties in Mumbai in our title-winning year or the one last season in Bengaluru, the batters have had their moment in the middle.
With the batting departments in both teams going well this season, one can expect the matchup on Sunday to be a high-scoring one as well. While the Challengers have the likes of orange cap holder, Virat Kohli, Faf Du Plessis, Dinesh Karthik and Rajat Patidar leading their charge with the bat, we have Captain Gill, Sai Su, Agent Miller and Rahul Tewatia anchoring our batting department.
Rashid Khan almost pulled off another impossible finish with the bat 💥@DelhiCapitals hold their nerves and clinch a crucial win 👏👏
