Junagadh, January 18, 2025: Gujarat Titans kicked off the second season of Junior Titans at the Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Gyanbag in Junagadh today. Junior Titans, an initiative by Gujarat Titans, is dedicated to cultivating a love for outdoor sports among U-14 children with the theme of ‘Let’s Sport Out'. The program aims to bring children back to the playground, allowing them to relish the essence of outdoor play and imbibe the spirit of true sportsmanship.

The event received a massive response with the participation of over 1050 children from 20 schools across the city, including 15 private and five government schools.

Colonel Arvinder Singh, COO of Gujarat Titans, said: “Junior Titans is aimed at cultivating a passion for sports in children and encouraging them to participate in outdoor sports activities. As we launch the second season of Junior Titans in Junagadh, we are delighted by the remarkable response. Through Junior Titans, we look forward to making a meaningful impact on children.”

The children engaged in several activities during this event including Titan Says – an interesting warm-up activity, a LALIGA masterclass, witnessing glorious moments of Gujarat Titans and fun quiz. They also took part in exciting challenges such as fitness exercises, facing the bowling machine, hitting the stumps, bowling and penalty kick.

LALIGA, the top tier of the Spanish football league, continues its association for the second season of the program, leading the football workshops at these events. The ongoing season has been also witness to one of Japan’s most loved brands, Pokemon, giving children a chance to meet their beloved Pokemon characters. Children can participate in exciting activities and take home amazing merchandise as part of Pokemon’s partnership with Junior Titans. This edition also sees Bisleri supply children with drinking water, while SG will provide the necessary sports equipment.

The Junior Titans event will take place every Saturday across cities in Gujarat. Events will be held in Bhavnagar (January 25), Bharuch (February 1), Palanpur (February 8) and Ahmedabad (February 15).
