After a gap of six days, we are ready to host Delhi Capitals in our upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash at our fortress, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on Saturday. The afternoon clash will start at 3:30 PM IST.

Led by our captain Shubman Gill, we will aim to return to winning ways after our four-match winning streak ended against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the ongoing IPL.

Put in to bat, our skipper Gill led from the front with 60 off just 38 balls, while our consistent opening batter Sai Sudharsan scored a 37-ball 56 to propel us to 180/6 in our 20 overs.

Later, our star pacer Prasidh ‘Skiddy’ Krishna delivered an impressive spell of 2/26, however, it wasn’t enough as the Super Giants chased down the target in 19.3 overs to end our magnificent run in IPL 2025.

Despite the hard-fought defeat, we are currently placed third on the IPL 2025 standings with eight points from six matches.

Ahead of our clash against the Capitals, we have signed Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka as a replacement for the injured Glenn Phillips for the remainder of IPL 2025.

Meanwhile, our elegant opening batter, Sai-Su, has been our leading run-scorer in IPL 2025 with 329 runs in six games at an average of 54.83 and a strike rate of 151.61. He has already slammed four fifties in the ongoing T20 tournament.

Jos Buttler (218 runs) and captain Gill (208 runs) have also been amongst the runs in IPL 2025.

In the bowling department, Prasidh, Sai Kishore and Mohammed Siraj have been our standout bowlers in the tournament with 10 scalps each.
