After winning three games on the trot, we will be aiming to extend our winning run against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in our upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash at our fortress, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on Wednesday.

Under the leadership of Shubman Gill, we arrived in Ahmedabad after registering a commanding seven-wicket win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Opting to bowl first, our bowling spearhead Mohammed Siraj recorded his best IPL figures of 4/17 to help us restrict a much-vaunted SRH batting line-up to 152/8 in 20 overs.

Apart from Siraj, our talented left-arm spinner Sai Kishore and star pacer Prasidh Krishna also bagged two wickets apiece.

Later, captain Shubman Gill led from the front with an unbeaten 61 off 43 balls, along with contributions from our debutant Washington Sundar (49) and Sherfane Rutherford (35 not out) to register our third consecutive victory in IPL 2025.

Meanwhile, our stylish opening batter, Sai-Su, has been our leading run-scorer in the ongoing tournament. Our dynamic southpaw has already amassed 191 runs in four matches at an average of 47.75 and a strike rate of 150.39.

Butter (166 runs ) and skipper Gill (146 runs) have also made significant contributions with the bat so far.

In the bowling department, Siraj has been our wrecker-in-chief with nine wickets in four matches at an average of 13.77 and an economy of 7.75.

Sai Kishore has claimed eight wickets while Prasidh has five scalps to his name in IPL 2025.
