India’s 2025 home schedule: Ahmedabad to host Test against Windies, T20I versus South Africa
The Indian cricket team will host South Africa in all three formats at the end of this year.

The Indian cricket team will kick off their 2025 home season with a Test match against West Indies at our fortress, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, on October 2.
Rohit Sharma and his men will play the first Test of a two-match Test series against West Indies in Ahmedabad from October 2-6.
Our captain Shubman Gill and our star pacer Mohammed Siraj are expected to feature in the Ahmedabad Test.
The second and final Test of the series is scheduled to be staged at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata from October 10-14.
Following the West Indies Test series, India will host South Africa across all three formats later in November and December.
The first Test of the two-match series against the Proteas will be played at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi from November 14-18.
Guwahati will gear up to host its maiden Test match featuring India and South Africa from November 22-26. Meanwhile, the Barsapara Cricket Stadium will become the 30th venue to host a Test match in India.
All the upcoming four Tests will be part of India's next World Test Championship fixtures.
After the two-match Test series, India will compete in a three-match ODI series against South Africa, starting in Ranchi on November 30. The second ODI will be staged in Raipur on December 3, while the final ODI will be played on December 6.
The multi-format series will later conclude with a five-match T20I series, culminating with the final fixture at our home in Ahmedabad on December 19.
