Gujarat Titans have a superior head-to-head record against Punjab Kings in the IPL, having won three of the five matches.
After months of anticipation and build-up, our boys are ready to take on Punjab Kings in our opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at our fortress, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, March 25.
Having missed out on an IPL playoffs spot last season, the Shubman Gill-led Titans will be looking to replicate our title-winning campaign on our debut in 2022.
With an aim to clinch our second IPL title, we have assembled a formidable squad with a good mix of experienced players and talented youngsters for the 2025 season.
Apart from retaining our five players - captain Shubman Gill, all-rounders Rashid Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Shahrukh Khan and our stylish batter Sai Sudharsan, we have bolstered our squad with some brilliant acquisitions at the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.
Former England captain Jos Buttler, New Zealand all-rounder Glenn Phillips, South African pace duo of Kagiso Rabada and Gerald Coetzee, West Indies’ flamboyant batter Sherfane Rutherford, Afghanistan all-rounder Karim Janat are some of our overseas stars expected to play a pivotal role in our IPL 2025 campaign.
Washington Sundar, Mahipal Lomror, Sai Kishore, Arshad Khan and Nishant Sindhu are our other all-round options.
In the bowling department, Mohammed Siraj, Kagiso Rabada, Rashid Khan, Ishant Sharma, Gerald Coetzee, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Jayant Yadav, Manav Suthar and Kulwant Khejroliya are some of our options that we will bank on during the tournament.
