We have a dominant head-to-head record against Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, having won six of the seven matches so far.
After registering back-to-back wins, we will be aiming to extend our winning streak against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in our upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday.
Led by our talismanic captain Shubman Gill, we have arrived in Jaipur after securing a 39-run victory over defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens.
Put in to bat, our skipper led from the front with 90 off just 55 balls, while Sai Sudharsan (52) and Jos Buttler (41 not out) also made significant contributions to help us post 198/3 in our 20 overs.
Defending 198, we rode on an excellent all-round bowling performance to restrict KKR to 159/8 in their allotted overs.
Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan picked up two wickets each, while the likes of Sai Kishore, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar chipped in with one scalp apiece.
Earlier, our Titans chased down 204 in 19.2 overs to guide us to a seven-wicket win over Delhi Capitals (DC) at our fortress, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
With six victories and two defeats, we have already accumulated 12 points and will look to solidify our IPL 2025 playoffs chances with a win on Monday.
Meanwhile, Sai Sudharsan has been our leading run-scorer in IPL 2025. Our consistent opening batter has amassed 417 runs in eight games at an average of 52.12 and a strike rate of 152.18.
Buttler (356 runs) and captain Gill (305 runs) have also been in brilliant form in the ongoing tournament.
In fact, Gill has an impressive record against the Royals in the IPL. Our skipper has scored 446 runs in 14 innings, including two half-centuries.
In the bowling department, Prasidh ‘Skiddy’ Krishna has been our top wicket-taker in IPL 2025. Our talented pacer has already bagged 16 wickets in eight matches at an average of 14.12 and an economy of 7.29.
Apart from Prasidh, Sai Kishore and Mohammed Siraj have claimed 12 wickets each.
Our spin wizard Rashid Khan could play a pivotal role in Jaipur on Monday. Our Afghan leg-spinner has already bagged 18 wickets in 15 games against the Royals at an economy of 6.33.
