Our Titans produced a dominant performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to register a commanding 8-wicket win in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Wednesday.

Opting to bowl first, our Miyaan, Mohammed Siraj, delivered an exceptional spell (3/19) while spinner Sai Kishore picked up two wickets to help us restrict RCB to 169/8 in their 20 overs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Later, Jos Buttler slammed an unbeaten 73 off 39 balls, along with contributions from Sai Sudharsan (49) and Sherfane Rutherford (30 not out), to guide us to our second straight victory in IPL 2025.

Arshad, Siraj breathe fire in the powerplay

Our bowlers got us off to a sensational start as our left-arm pacer Arshad Khan bagged the massive wicket of Virat Kohli in the second over.

Our bowling spearhead Mohammed Siraj soon joined the party as he cleaned up Devdutt Padikkal in the following over.

Miyaan continued his brilliant spell as he rattled Phil Salt’s stumps to reduce RCB to 35/3 inside the powerplay.

Ishant, Sai-Ki inflict more damage

Later in the seventh over, our experienced fast bowler Ishant Sharma trapped opposition captain Rajat Patidar in front of the stumps.

Liam Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma then stitched a partnership for the hosts before left-arm spinner Sai Kishore dismissed the RCB wicketkeeper-batter in the 13th over.

Sai-Ki soon claimed his second wicket of the match as he sent Krunal Pandya packing in his third over.

Titans restrict RCB to 169

Our Titans continued to pick up wickets at regular intervals as Siraj removed Livingstone to end his outstanding spell with figures of 4-0-19-3 at the Chinnaswamy.

‘Skiddy’ Prasidh Krishna later demolished Tim David’s stumps to help us restrict RCB to 169/8.

Shubman, Sai-Su lay the foundation

Chasing 170, captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan got us off to a quick start. The openers played some scintillating shots before our captain departed in the fifth over.

Sai-Su, Jos stitch crucial partnership

Batting at No.3, our boss, Jos Buttler and Sai-Su showed great intent despite losing our skipper.

Buttler smashed RCB pacer Rasikh Salam for two sixes and one four to accumulate 18 runs in the ninth over. Our dynamic duo established an outstanding 75-run stand for the second wicket before Sudharsan fell for a well-made 49 off 36 balls. His impressive knock included seven fours and one maximum.

Buttler guides us to consecutive wins

Jos The Boss continued his dazzling knock at the other end. Our dashing wicketkeeper-batter clobbered Livingstone for a six to notch up his fifty off just 31 balls.

Meanwhile, our Caribbean southpaw Sherfane Rutherford contributed with an eye-catching cameo of an 18-ball 30 while Buttler remained unbeaten on 73 to help chase down the target in just 17.5 overs.

Siraj was adjudged the Player of the Match for his match-winning spell on his return to the Chinnaswamy.

With four points from three matches, our boys are currently placed fourth in the IPL 2025 standings. We will now look to keep the winning momentum against the SunRisers Hyderabad on Sunday.
