Jayant Yadav made an immediate mark on the international stage in 2016, becoming the first Indian to score a Test century at No. 9 during the England series. A dependable all-rounder, Jayant began his First-Class career in 2011, quickly impressing with performances that showcased both his off-spin and batting ability.
One of his early highlights came when he produced a match-winning spell of 6 wickets to lead Haryana to victory. In the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy, he finished as Haryana’s leading wicket-taker with 33 wickets, underlining his consistency with the ball.
Jayant has also delivered memorable moments with the bat. In 2012, he shared a remarkable 392-run partnership with Amit Mishra, scoring a brilliant 211 runs, one of the standout innings of his domestic career.
In the IPL, Jayant joined the Gujarat Titans in 2022 and has since been a reliable presence in the squad, bringing experience, control with the ball, and depth with the bat. Recognizing his value, the Titans re-signed him in the TATA IPL 2025 and 2026 auctions, continuing his journey as a trusted member of the GT setup.
