Jos Buttler, England’s explosive limited-overs captain, is renowned for his exceptional power-hitting. He holds the record for England’s fastest ODI century, scoring a 46-ball ton against Pakistan in 2015, and is the holder of the top three fastest centuries by an England batter in ODIs.
In the IPL, Buttler began his journey with Mumbai Indians before joining Rajasthan Royals in 2018, where he truly blossomed. He became the second batter in IPL history to score five consecutive 50 scores and registered his first IPL century in 2021. That same year, he also scored his first T20I century at the World Cup.
Buttler’s standout IPL season came in 2022 when he amassed 863 runs, including four centuries, equaling the record for the most centuries in a single season. He was instrumental in England’s T20 World Cup win that year. In the TATA IPL 2025 Auction, he was picked up by Gujarat Titans for ₹15.75 crore.
