Karim Janat, Afghanistan’s hard-hitting all-rounder, first made a name for himself in the 2016 U-19 World Cup, amassing 273 runs, including a brilliant 156 against Fiji. He made his T20I debut the same year and earned the Man of the Match award in his first game.
Janat showcased his bowling prowess in the 2017 Ghazi Amanullah Regional One-Day Tournament, where he finished as the joint-highest wicket-taker with 12 wickets. In 2022, he scored 561 runs at an impressive average of 140.25 in the Ahmad Shah Abdali four-day tournament, earning a spot in Afghanistan’s Test squad. Most recently, Janat smashed a century in the 2024 Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup final, leading his team to victory.
