Sai Kishore is a rising star in Indian cricket, known for his exceptional performances in domestic tournaments. He debuted in List A cricket during the 2016-17 Vijay Hazare Trophy and made his First-Class debut for Tamil Nadu in 2017. Kishore was the leading wicket-taker for Tamil Nadu in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy, claiming 22 wickets.
He joined Chennai Super Kings in 2020 but did not feature in any games. In 2022, he was picked by Gujarat Titans for the IPL. Kishore made his India debut at the 2023 Asian Games, where he took 4 wickets, including a 3-wicket haul against Bangladesh.
