Registration Terms and Conditions of ‘Gujarat Titans – Titans Rising’
Background
These registrations terms and conditions (“Terms”) are with reference to participation in the
BGMI invitational tournament under the name ‘Gujarat Titans– Titans Rising’ (“Tournament”)being
organized by Irelia Sports India Private Limited (“ISIPL”), the owner and operator of the Gujarat
Titans
professional twenty20 cricket team (“Gujarat Titans”or“GT”).
The Tournament is being organized by ISIPL in collaboration with Revenant Esports Private Limited
(“Revenant”). ISIPL and Revenant are hereinafter collectively referred to as the
“Organizers”.
For the purpose of these Terms, “you” and “your” shall mean any individual who wishes to participate in
the Contest.
By registering for the Tournament, you unconditionally and unequivocally accept these Terms.
Tournament
The Tournament is proposed to be held between October 11, 2024 and October 27, 2024 in two phases. In
Phase 1, teams registering through the open registration will compete with each other for a place in the
Tournament quarter-finals. In Phase 2, thirty-two (32) teams who qualify through the qualifiers and
sixteen (16) professional e-sports teams invited by the Organizers will compete. The Tournament
quarter-finals will be followed by a semi-final and a grand final. The winner of the grand final of the
Tournament will be recognized by the Organizers as the champion of the Tournament.
Prizes will be awarded to the champion of the Tournament and teams that accomplish milestones specified
by ISIPL. Such prizes will consist of monetary rewards, GT merchandise and/or any other rewards determined
by ISIPL at its discretion.
More details on the format of the Tournament, schedule of the Tournament, the rulebook of the tournament
and the prizes that will be awarded (“Prizes”) will be published inter alia on the GT’s
official website located at https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/ and the TitansFAM App.
Participation
A team consisting of four (4) to five (5) individuals may compete in the Tournament (“Team”).
Each member of the Team shall be an individual above 16 years of age and residing in India. Where any
individual between the age of 16-18 years seeks to participate in the Tournament, such individual shall
require the consent of his/her parent/legal guardian. Upon a Team registering with one or more members
between the age of 16-18 years, the consent of the parent/legal guardian of such members between the age
of 16-18 years for their participation in the Tournament, shall be deemed to have been obtained. The
Organizers retain the right to demand from any individual proof of age and in respect of individuals
between the age of 16-18 years, proof of consent from their parent/legal guardian for participation in the
Tournament. Where the above demand is not met, the individual in question and the Team of which he/she is
a member, will be disqualified from the Tournament. Accordingly, individuals comprising the Team are
warned to ensure that every member of the Team is demonstrably over the age of 16 years and has obtained
the consent of their parents/guardian where required as set out above.
In order to register a Team for the Tournament, you will need to visit the website https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/ (“Platform”) and
complete the registration form. The details that will be required to be provided shall include, the name
of the members of the Team, their contact numbers, email addresses, device details, and such other
information as required by the Organizers.
The registration of Teams will be processed on a first-cum basis for a maximum of 2048 teams. A Team that
successfully registers and fulfils the criteria established by the Organizers will be permitted to compete
in the Tournament. Teams will be contacted by the Organizers through the contact numbers provided when
registering the Team under the registration form. The Organizers may contact the Teams regarding the
Tournament/Team’s participation in the Tournament and for such other persons as specified in the Platform
Terms (as defined below).
Registration for the Tournament shall open on 5th October 2024 at 5:00 PM IST and close on 10th October
2024 at 5:00 PM IST (“Registration Period”) or once maximum registrations have been received, whichever
happens first.
You will not be eligible to register for the Tournament once the Registration Period closes as set out
under sub-clause f. above.
The Organizers shall not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or
any other issues which impairs your inability to register for Tournament.
The Organizers’ decision on all matters concerning the Tournament shall be final and shall not be open to
challenge.
Prize
The Tournament will have the following prizes (each a "Prize") which will
be awarded to the qualifying Teams/Team members:
Prize money for the champion and the finalists of the Tournament:
The Team that wins the Grand Final shall be awarded a total of INR 8,00,000 (Indian Rupees Eight Lakhs);
The Team that is the first runner-up in Grand Final shall be awarded a total of INR 4,00,000 (Indian Rupees Four Lakhs); and
The Team that is the second runner-up in the Grand Final shall be awarded a total of INR
2,50,000 (Indian Rupees Two Lakhs and Fifty Thousand).
Prize money for Teams/Team members that are voted/adjudged for the titles specified below through fan-voting or as determined by the Organizers:
One (1) Team member in the Tournament that is adjudged the 'Most Valuable Titan' in
the Grand Final by the Organizers shall be awarded a total of INR 1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One
Lakh);
One (1) Team in the Tournament that is adjudged the 'Rising Titan Squad' by the
Organizers shall be awarded a total of INR 1,50,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh and Fifty Thousand);
One (1) Team that is voted the 'Fan Favourite Team' by the audience shall be awarded
a total of INR 50,000 (Indian Rupees Fifty Thousand);
Three (3) Team members that are adjudged a 'Rising Titan' by the Organizers shall
each be awarded a total of INR 50,000 (Indian Rupees Fifty Thousand);
Twenty-four (24) Team members that are adjudged a 'Man of the Maps' in the Grand
Final by the Organizers shall each be awarded a total of INR 10,000 (Indian Rupees Ten Thousand); and
One (1) Team member that is voted the 'Best In-Game Leader' by the audience shall be
awarded a total of INR 60,000 (Indian Rupees Sixty Thousand).
Fifty (50) Teams/Team members, as determined by the Organizers, shall each be awarded gift bags
containing GT merchandise.
Each Team/Team member adjudged a winner of a Prize, in the manner set out in sub-clause a.
("Winner") will be required to complete such steps as reasonably required by
the Organizers to verify the information provided by the Team/Team members at the time of registration, validate the victory and receive the Prize.
The Prizes for the Tournament shall be distributed to the respective Winners after the completion of the Tournament. Information pertaining to location, venue and the time to collect the Prize shall be intimated to each Winner on the contact numbers included in their registration form.
The Winners shall be solely responsible (as between each such Winner and the Organizers) for complying with any income tax obligations and requirements under applicable law in relation to the Prizes.
Any Winning Team member/Winning Team with a member between the age of 16 to 18 years shall not be
entitled to the Prize, unless such member is represented by the parent/guardian, and such parent/guardian completes all necessary formalities on such member's behalf.
ISIPL reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another without providing any notice.
The members of the Teams/Team members adjudged Winners may be required to submit an image of themselves, written testimonial, and/or video testimonial ("Testimonial"), as requested
by ISIPL, at no additional cost or charge to the Organizers.
Legal
Intellectual Property/Third Party Rights: By submitting any content on the Platform or otherwise
to the Organizers, you agree to grant ISIPL a royalty-free, world-wide, non-exclusive, perpetual and
assignable right to use, copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, translate, create derivative works from,
transmit, and share your content and to use such content. Such content may include, without limitation,
your name, photograph, location, the Testimonial etc. You further agree and acknowledge that ISIPL has the
right to use in any manner whatsoever all communication or feedback provided by you. The eligible Winners
must, at the request of ISIPL, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography)
surrounding the winning of the Prize, free of charge, and they consent to ISIPL using their name, likeness
and image in all promotional materials undertaken by ISIPL. You acknowledge and agree that ISIPL shall
have exclusive ownership of all intellectual property rights created or developed in relation to the
Tournament, including but not limited to promotional and marketing materials, Tournament-related content,
branding and logos of the Tournament, as well as any footage, recordings, or content derived from live
streams of the Tournament (“Tournament Assets”), in perpetuity and on worldwide-basis and you agree
to undertake all such actions as reasonably required by ISIPL to give effect to the foregoing.
Live-Stream: By registering for the Tournament, you acknowledge and agree that the Organizers may
live-stream any part of the Tournament and you shall extend all cooperation to the Organizers for enabling
such live-streaming, including without limitation, fulfilling any reasonable requests of the Organizers in
respect of setting up relevant IT infrastructure for such live-streaming.
Indemnification: You hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Organizers from and
against all liability and costs incurred in connection with any claims arising out of or relating to your
registration for/participation in the Tournament, including but not limited to any breach of obligations,
representations or warranties in these Terms, or any claim arising out of any breach of a third party’s
rights of any nature by you.
Waiver: Your participation in the Tournament is at your own risk and strictly in accordance with
the Tournament Terms (as defined below). The Organizers bears no responsibility for any loss or damage
incurred as a result of your participation in/registration for the Tournament, and you waive any claims
against ISIPL in relation thereto.
Breach of Terms : Any breach of these Terms, and/or the Terms and Conditions located at https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/terms-and-conditions
(“Platform Terms”) or any other terms and conditions notified by the Organizers in respect of the
Tournament (collectively, “Tournament Terms”), will automatically void your participation in the
Tournament. It is clarified that a violation of the Tournament Terms by any member of a Team, may result
in the participation of the entire Team being held to be void. If a breach of any of the Tournament Terms
is discovered after the award of the Prize, then ISIPL has the right to require the return of such
Prize/require the refund of the value of the Prize (at ISIPL’s discretion), and you agree to, the above.
It is clarified that additional costs (if any) incurred by ISIPL in awarding the Prize to a different
Team/Team member (if ISIPL so opts to do), will also be required to be made good by you on demand.

You agree and acknowledge that your participation in any contest offered through the website or app does not involve your staking of money or money’s worth. Given that contests offering rewards without the requirement of staking of money or money’s worth may be regulated by certain states in India, you confirm that you have assessed your eligibility in participating in any contests on our website and app prior to participating in such contest. You shall refrain from making any false disclosures, declarations, and/or representations to Us to circumvent applicable laws that apply to your participation in any contests offered on our website or app.
ISIPL shall neither be liable nor responsible for any actions or inactions of any third party and
hereby expressly disclaims any and all responsibility and liability in that regard.
The Organizers shall neither be liable nor responsible for any damage, loss, injury or
disappointment suffered by any Team/Team members as a result of entering the Tournament or accepting
the Prize or any injury or damage to the Team members’ or any other person's personal property
including but not limited to a computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from participation in
the Tournament.
The Prize is personal to the Winners and is not transferrable.
No Prize will be awarded if the information furnished by the members of the Team at the time of
registration, or at any subsequent stage is factually incorrect.
In the event a Winner does not acknowledge/accept/collect their Prize within the timeline stated by
ISIPL, such Winner shall forfeit the Prize being awarded, and ISIPL shall have the right to award the
same Prize(s) to other Team(s)/Team member(s).
You are aware that participation in the Tournament does not guarantee a Prize to you.
All collection, storage, use and disclosure of any information provided by you to ISIPL will be in
accordance with ISIPL’s privacy policy available at: https://www.gujarattitansipl.com/privacy-policy.
Promotional Communication: You hereby agree to receive promotional and marketing communication
including but not limited to email communication/newsletters, WhatsApp messages, mobile SMS, call etc.
from ISIPL from time to time. You further expressly waive Do Not Call (DNC)/ Do Not Disturb (DND)
registrations on your phone/mobile numbers for contacting you for such promotional/marketing purposes.
General
ISIPL reserves, at its discretion, the right to without prior notice: (i) vary these Terms, including
insertion of additional terms; (ii) withdraw, vary or substitute the Prizes associated with the
Tournament; (iii) disqualify any Participant who breaches the Platform Terms and/or these Terms or has
acted fraudulently; or (iv) cancel the Tournament at any stage. Any such amendments shall be published on
the Platform or through Whatsapp and email or the official discord and social media channels of the
Gujarat Titans and shall be effective on publication per the terms of such amendments.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Tournament shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. Any disputes arising
out of or in connection with the Tournament and/or your participation in the Tournament will be subject to
the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, India.
